Sumit Arora is a techie with a heart for Environment. He is currently the Founder of Enviro Aware, an organisation focussed towards making the world environment aware. At Enviro aware Sumit is working on bringing the people working in climate together for knowledge sharing, creating a database of climate best practices, curating methods of climate education and exploring climate tech solutions for a sustainable future.
After his journey of over 15 years in corporate, tech entrepreneurship, Non-profit working with government of India along with his deep appreciation for environment and sustainability Sumit joined the Centre for wildlife Studies in 2021 as Associate Director and is leading Technology and Partnerships for the organization. At CWS, Sumit oversees development of technology platforms such as Wild Connect, organization wide ERP setup and is also involved in other technology explorations. He also heads the Environment Education program, Wild Shaale at CWS. He also started the Wild Incubator program where they fund 5 non-profits working on wildlife conservation and now he is starting Wild Incubator Tech to support organisations working on Tech for Wildlife Conservation in India.
