Founder, Riffle Ventures
Suma Reddy is a visionary entrepreneur and leader in the field of ClimateTech innovation, based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. With a rich background in entrepreneurship, startups, and product development, she has co-founded several impactful ventures. Currently, Suma is the Co-Founder of Riffle Ventures and serves as a Board Member at GrainPro, contributing her expertise since November 2021. She is also an Advisory Board Member for ClimateTech and a Teaching Faculty member at the School of Visual Arts, educating on just entrepreneurship in climate innovation.
Suma was the CEO of Future Acres, a role she held from September 2020 to March 2023, and she previously co-founded and served as COO of Farmshelf. Her entrepreneurial journey includes being the Managing Partner at Akula Energy Ventures, specializing in renewable energy projects, and co-founding Waddle, a mobile app for friend-to-friend discovery. She also co-founded Spectrum BioEnergy LLC, a US-based biogas company. Additionally, Suma’s early career includes a managerial role at SKS Microfinance Pvt Ltd and serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Mali.
Her educational credentials are impressive, with an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and a BA in Economics from the University of Rochester. Suma also has training in iOS Development from the Flatiron School and User Experience Design from General Assembly.
