Ruchie is the Joint Director – Academics for the Anant Fellowship in Sustainability and Built Environment at Anant National University. An educator, architect, and sustainability consultant, Ruchie has worked on projects and policies addressing high performance buildings, green infrastructure, and urban sustainability for over 15 years.

Prior to joining Anant, Ruchie introduced sustainability learning in the IB and IGCSE curriculum using maker pedagogy at B.D.Somani International School, Mumbai. She led the pan-India Building Energy Modeling and Advisory project under the Indo-Swiss Fairconditioning Programme from 2016-2018.

A capacity-building project, BEMAP promoted climate change mitigation by integrating low- carbon and energy efficient design and technology within the building construction industry. Ruchie holds a Bachelors of Architecture from Academy of Architecture, Mumbai and a Masters of Science in Sustainable Design from Carnegie Mellon University, USA. She is a Global Shaper alumni and Anant Fellow for Climate Action.
