Dr. Santanu Basu is the Project Director – Harit by HCL Foundation, where he leads various climate change mitigation, adaptation and resilience building projects and initiatives, ensuring successful implementation and achievement of objectives.
With vast experience in project management, CSR activities, stakeholder coordination, and NGO management, Dr. Basu is a passionate and driven professional who strives to make a positive impact on the environment and society. He holds a PhD in Wildlife Science from the Wildlife Institute of India, and has extensive knowledge and skills in environmental sustainability, social development, and policy advocacy.
Before joining HCL, he worked in various national and international assignments related to environment and Climate change domain.
