Founder & CEO, Pixxel Space Technologies
Awais is the founder and CEO of Pixxel – a space technology company building a constellation of the world’s first hyperspectral imaging satellites to combat climate change. Awais started Pixxel while in the final year of his studies while pursuing a Masters in Mathematics from BITS Pilani – one of India’s premier science and engineering institute.
Prior to Pixxel, Awais was one of the founding members and engineering leads at Hyperloop India – a national team that was one of the finalist teams at the SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Competition. Due to his work with Pixxel, Awais has been a recipient of numerous global awards such as MIT Innovators Under 35, Fortune 40 under 40 and Forbes 30 and 30.
