Angelic Abad Ospino is a dedicated environmental engineer and advocate for sustainable development based in Panama. With a deep commitment to preserving ecosystems and promoting sustainable use of natural resources, she dreams of a world where people live with dignity while respecting their natural habitats. Angelic is a Youth Delegate at the Summit of the Americas 2022 in Los Angeles, California, representing Panama.
Her professional experience includes roles in environmental management and project technical assistance at the Ministry of Environment in Panama. She has worked on various projects, including evaluating environmental impact, forest management, and agroforestry. Angelic was the president of the Partners Campus Panamá (2020-2023) from the Partners of the Americas Network and is a Climate Reality Leader with The Climate Reality Project since September 2020.
Her education includes a degree in Watershed Management and Environment Engineering from the University of Panama and a Master’s in Environmental Sciences with an emphasis on Natural Resources from the Open and Distance University of Panama. Angelic’s work reflects her passion for environmental education, carbon footprint measurement, organic fertilization, and sustainable events. She is committed to making a positive impact on the environment through innovative projects and awareness initiatives.
